Join FCYO's 20th Anniversary Celebration! December 10th, 2020 & January 14th, 2021

POSTED: 4.18.2021

FCYO is proudly celebrating our 20th year by honoring the powerful role of young people in advancing a more just and equitable world. Over the last twenty years, young people of color, low-income young people, and gender-oppressed young people have made essential contributions to movements for racial, gender, and economic justice. And in this pivotal moment, they are once again rising to address our most pressing issues.

As we turn 20, we want to take this opportunity to reflect on the last 20 years of youth organizing, how the field has grown, and where we are going.

Join us for a two-part virtual celebration!

Part 1: Center and Celebrate!
Thursday, December 10th, 2020  | 3-5 PM EST

Given the intense nature of 2020, we're creating a space for centering and reflection on the past year as well as a space to celebrate the success of our movements! Join us for reflective practice and live performances from incredible youth leaders and storytellers as we end the year with a loving community!

Part 2: Looking Back and Looking Forward!
Thursday, January 14th, 2021 | 3-5 PM EST
Join us for a multimedia look back at the last 20 years of youth organizing and an engaging conversation with key youth organizing leaders as they recollect on how the field has grown, its next chapter, and how we are supporting young people to lead in this moment. In true FCYO fashion, we will engage youth organizers, funders, and allies in an interactive conversation about where we have been and where we are going.
Stay tuned as we share more details about our upcoming celebrations!
