Building Strategic Alignment
and Standards of Practice
About Us
Since 2000, the Funders' Collaborative on Youth Organizing (FCYO) has worked to advance a strong, interconnected, and well-resourced youth and intergenerational organizing field capable of bringing young people and their communities together to build broad-based power and achieve lasting social change.
Across our work, FCYO is driven by a vision of a society by and for everyday people, fueled by a commitment to interdependence, grounded in joy and connection, and built to serve the collective interests of its people and the planet. To reach this vision, we work on the dual fronts of organizing and philanthropy, engaging in grantmaking and capacity-building efforts that directly resource youth and intergenerational organizing groups to align and strengthen their organizing praxis and bringing together social justice funders to coordinate their resourcing strategies with movement priorities.
